I had a truth once in my head
plain and simple I could have left it at that
But life is a tale of wanting more so I turned to science and reason to know it all
My truth was made of fragile glass like Adams when tempted by a snake in the grass
Broken by that forbidden fruit now I can never have the Truth
But you'll only see me shed tears of joy for now I have all reality to awe.
