No more long walks in the park,
No more cuddles it’s too dark,
No more chatting on the phone,
No more standing on her own,
No more holding her own cup,
No more having to wash up,
No more lending a helping hand,
No more playing in the sand,
No more opening her post,
No more cooking the Sunday roast,
No more running for the buses,
No more helping to trim the bushes,
No more crying don’t make a fuss,
No more no mores this isn't us.

Dedicated to my mum who suffered a brain haemorrhage causing her to lose her sight, mobility and ability to talk properly, whist giving birth to me 24 years ago.
