“Science is boring.”
I was flabbergasted, uncertain
How long the silence lasted.
“Are you sure, darling?”

“Everything’s already been discovered,
Uncovered, excavated and extrapolated.”
“OK, stay just where you are situated,
By the way, you’re wrong; I’ll demonstrate it:

I know you think that space is distant,
And while you can’t get there in an instant
I think you’ll find it’s not that far
Just an hours drive straight up in your car.

Say, 'Elon we’ve got a car but it can’t fly'
Then ask Mr. Musk to borrow a Falcon
And forget about sunsets from your balcon
Today you’ll see sixteen with your own eye!”
