The day we first met,
Was not love at first sight,
She challenged my mind,
And had to be right.

I could not understand her
I could not see the point,
Though her beauty unmatched,
Our love was disjoint.

She’s so real and complex,
A natural design,
She asked for my number,
This must be a sign.

With an answer so quick,
I’d be labelled a sage,
We’ll grow up together,
Way into old age.

She’s always been there,
An integral part of my life.
Keeping me grounded,
My mathematical wife.

She’ll grow on me slowly,
As we tighten our bond,
Never leaving my side,
To infinity.
