We must patiently wait,
To capture the moment,
Not all beauty lasts forever.

Stars that look upon you crumble,
Jealously descending from heaven canvass,
As tear drops dart down as spears,
Silver clouds dissolve into the night.

Oh Night-blooming cereus,
Blossom as you bathe in moonlight,
Light at dawn, you will never see,
So smile with joy during this immortal night,
Oh white ephemeral beauty,
Smile.
