That word should start this;
and words convey;
yet still, in sight,
the memory of numbers,
which grow and grow
in their decay,
should keep this head I hold -
its lips devoid
of answer to my eyes – as
37 – 37
that I held this way,
and only counted
as I shut the eyes,
with names, the while,
vanishing.
