Once upon a time,
I walked past the hands of my grandfather’s clock,
I walked through it to find a young girl.

Once upon a time,
I walked a great deal to tell a tale.
I told her what I've done, what I haven't and what I will do.
I told her of what I've become and what I've decided not to become.
I told her my story and I hope she listened and forget the words.
I told her to remember the values I brought along.

Once upon a time,
I walked through it to find a younger me,
I walked through time to tell myself that it will be alright and just to do things right.
