Burn it if you like
God knows I will
It has the breath of work
With a stench so flammable
That the rising vapours demand
To be lit
There is more knowledge
In its burning
And more comfort in that heat

Set it on fire
So we can circle it
And chant nothings at it
Nothings sung are more
Than nothings hidden
In pages
And pages
Of nothing

It has purpose
And direction
It has a vector
But its routes are random
Just like us
Drawing in invisible
The weight of belief
Upside down belief
Inside out belief

Incinerate the books
And use the flames
To read my skin instead
